Pähklimäe health trail in Akkeküla

The Pähklimäe district (literally “nut hill”) got its name from the hazel trees that grow here. This nature trail, approximately three kilometers long, has two large and four small information stands providing a brief overview of the nature of Äkkeküla – the trees and herbaceous plants that grow here, the birds and animals that live here, as well as the inanimate nature (glints and boulders).
