Põhja Narva County is an ancient region where villages were scattered along the banks of the mighty Narva – the homes of farmers and fishermen. Hardworking people lived here: they cultivated the fields, raised children, knew how to rest and sang so beautifully that the songs sounded like the soul of the nation itself.
