On March 1, at 18:00, a creative meeting with writer Sergei Furmanjuk and a presentation of the novel “Parasites” will take place in the “Book Laboratory”.

We invite you to the presentation of the new novel “Parasites” by actor and writer Sergei Furmanyuk. The meeting takes place within the literary section “Book Lab” and takes place in a chambered hall, which creates the conditions for an open dialogue and a trusting atmosphere.

The program of the evening includes not only a conversation about the book, but also a creative meeting with the author. Sergei Furmanjuk shares his professional and life experience, talks about his journey in the profession, his student years, work in theater and cinema, and opens up a little about what happens behind the scenes.

Guests can expect theatrical banter, reflections on the nature of acting and a sincere conversation without formalities. The author is happy to answer questions from the audience and readers.

Sergei Sergeevich Furmanyuk is a theater and film actor. He was born in 1981. He has been involved in theater since the age of seven. In 2006, he graduated from the school-studio of the Moscow Art Theater. He has played more than 50 roles in the RUSSIAN THEATER (Südalinna Teater). He participates in film projects and writes humorous stories and prose.

Summary of the novel Parasites

“Parasites” is a small absurdist novel in which the themes of power, sacrifice and the journey of creativity intertwine. The plot is structured as a kaleidoscope of events that branch through time and space through the protagonist’s memories and magical symbolism. Here, the theater itself becomes a character, and the boundaries between reality and metaphor blur.

It is at the same time a journey into the world behind the stage, a love story and a deep philosophical reflection on good and evil, which can only seem like an actor’s joke, inviting us to another performance — but leaving behind more questions than answers.

At the end of the meeting, you can buy the autographed novel and take a commemorative photo with the author.

Photo and video recording will take place at the event.

The event will be held in Russian.

Entrance is free.
