Curator’s tour of the exhibition “The City That Doesn’t Forget”

On March 7, the Narva Museum invites you to special tours dedicated to the events of the Second World War and the bombing of Narva.

On a tour of the castle at the exhibition "The City that Never Forgets", we travel back in our minds to pre-war Old Narva. Preserved architectural fragments, decorative details and images help to perceive the atmosphere of the lost city and to understand what its beauty and symbols meant at the time. In the course of the meeting, we will also unlock several "mysteries" of local culture – for example, the meanings of lion sculptures, wind flags and wooden sculptures in churches, in order to put together a more complete picture of a city that was irrevocably changed by the war.
