The Jõhvi Museum Society will organize a history conference of General Aleksander Tõnisson IX on Wednesday, April 22, in the chamber hall of the Jõhvi concert hall "Regaining independence. 35 years since the restoration of Jõhvi's city rights".

The conference focuses on the pivotal events of 1991 in Jõhvi and Ida-Virumaa. The conference will be moderated by Erik Gamzejev, the editor-in-chief of the "North Coast" newspaper.
