We invite you to “Jamaaja” with Aleksandr Openko at Narva town hall!

On May 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., a special meeting will be held in Narva’s historic town hall –

“Jamaaja” with Aleksandr Openko

. This is not a lecture or a formal conversation evening, but a lively, free and engaging conversation with a person who is known in Narva as a bright, passionate and versatile personality.

Aleksandr Openko is a researcher, publicist, home historian and leader of several cultural and social initiatives. He has rich experience, lots of stories, meetings, observations and thoughts about Narva’s past, present and future. But this evening, not only serious topics are discussed, there is also talk of life, people, unexpected turns of fate, colorful things, memories and of course everything that is still talked about in good company.

“Damage”

is a free-form public conversation, where you can not only listen, but also ask questions, think along, argue, laugh and together remember the stories that make our city alive. We talk about Alexander’s personal experience, his views, adventures and ideas, and how curiosity and dedication can become a life’s work.

This is an evening for those who appreciate good conversations, exciting stories and inspiring people.
