Jõhvi City Gallery Exhibition: Jane Siimso-Merivoo – “Landscapes”
In the Jõhvi city gallery, you can see the painting exhibition "Landscapes" by Jane Siimso-Merivoo, the founder and creative director of Tallinn Art Studio JANE, from March 2. A freeform work of art. Moments that get on the canvas with one energy and at a time that suits the artist. Jane appreciates the abundance of creative experiments and the courage to be visible. The inspiration is the surrounding natural wealth and natural phenomena. Abstract in form, philosophical in content. The color corresponds to the state of mind. Mixed media. Designed several pan-Estonian exhibitions of student work in the Blue Pavilion. Participated in the Estonian youth exhibition in New York. In 1992, Järva County's cultural award of the year, the planting of the named oak on Vargamäe, the cultural heritage of the Tammsaare Museum. 2014-2017 Estonian Flower Country organizer and participant. Personal exhibitions all over Estonia and abroad. Art projects Maradokmai, Thailand 2016 and Porto, Portugal 2023. Since 2000 JANE Dekoor – large-scale design works, decoration, design, calligraphy, curatorial work, course organization, floristry and garden design. 2008 annual awards for the Christmas display – Kiika Kööki in Tallinn and 2010 Pierre cafe in Tartu. XI youth song and dance party "Earth and Weather" 2011 in Tallinn – 80 wreaths for general managers. Currently associated with the Hiiumaa Vocational School – painting lecturer.
