GUIDE

1. PURPOSE

Identify the best players.

Development and promotion of petanque in Jõhvi municipality and Ida-Virumaa.

Activation of sports hobby through playing petanque.

2. TIME AND PLACE

The competitions will take place in the Voka Sports Hall (Metsa tn 2) January-May 2026.

Phase II 15.02.2026 11:00

Stage III 15.03.2026 11:00

IV stage 12.03.2026 11:00

V stage 10.05.2026 11:00

3. MANAGEMENT

The main organizer is JÕHVI VALD together with VIRU SK.

The chief judge is JUHAN NEILAND, tel. 56228909.

4. PARTICIPANTS

Up to 24 competitors who have registered themselves for the competition are allowed to participate.

The athlete himself is responsible for his health condition.

5. CONTEST SYSTEM

There are 5 stages in a single game.

With up to 16 players, 4 rounds are played in the Swiss system.

5 rounds with 14-24 competitors in the Swiss system.

After 1st stage, placement is based on rating.

6. EXPLANATION OF THE ORDER OF PREFERENCE

The ranking is explained at each stage and in the overall ranking.

The winner of each stage receives points according to the number of participants. Every next place 2 less.

The points of the 5 stages are added up in the overall calculation.

7. REWARD

The top 3 overall finishers will be awarded a trophy.

The best young player up to 18 years (including), woman and Jõhvi parish player will also be awarded.

8. MANAGEMENT

The participation fee per player at each stage is 5 euros, which is paid on the spot. There is a participation fee

released young people up to 18 years of age. (including).

Young people up to the age of 18 are exempt from the participation fee.

9. REGISTRATION

You can register for competitions by phone. 56228909 (Juhan Neiland) until the Friday evening before the competitions or

up to 24 participants.

If there are free places, you can also register on site before the start of the competitions.

10. RESOLUTION OF ARISING ISSUES

All questions and protests that have arisen will be resolved by the chief judge.
