Kaisa Ling and Rene Paul in Jõhvi
Kaisa Ling and Rene Paul from the band Kaisa Ling Thing are coming to Jõhvi!
The spectacular “Rändprassing” is a series of spring concert performances that brings vibrancy, humor and good music to smaller venues across Estonia. This is not an ordinary sit-in-the-dark-and-clap concert, but an immediate experience, where the boundary between the stage and the hall dissolves, as the artists step directly into the crowd.
Mainly Kaisa and Rene’s own songs from Kaisa Ling Thing’s records as well as from the bottom of the drawer – music that makes you tap your feet and nod your head.
Kaisa Ling is Estonia’s best (albeit the only) palagan blues mutt. Sharp humor, admonition, and sarcasm go hand in hand with the pain of the world. Although today he is mainly known as a singer, he also grabs a guitar on this tour to perform some songs all by himself and alone.
Kaisa and Rene drive through the fields and forests, collect the local blues – all our joys and sorrows -, boil them into a big compote and send it to the danger of death.
