Koht37 conversation evenings “dark stories: crime in literature and real life”

Koht37's two-part conversation evening series "Dark stories: crime in literature and real life" deals with the two sides of the criminal world – what we read in books and what actually happens in courtrooms. Fiction and real justice, suspense and harsh reality meet in the series of talk nights.

On March 10 at 5:30 p.m., Indrek Hargla, Estonia's best-known science fiction and crime novelist, will come to us, who will talk about his works and reveal more about the depiction of crime in literature and its impact on the reader.

On April 21, at 5:30 p.m., Sergey Listov, a fighter against organized crime, will come to visit, and he works as a prosecutor on a daily basis. The topic is "How hard is it to ask for a life sentence in court?", which is about organized drug crime right here around us. It is a big challenge that is still pending.

During the evening we will dive into the topic: how the real criminal procedure differs from what we see in movies and read in books.
