Performance “Born in Jõhvi”

"Born in Jõhvi" is the first entry in the hopefully long-term cooperation project of Eesti Kontsert and the Jõhvi municipal government, where freelance creative people will create a stage piece in Jõhvi's residence within three months. Director Elina Pähklimägi has put together a production team, which includes playwright Katariina Libe and actors Triinu Meriste, Jaune Kimmel, Janek Joost and Markus Truup.

The source of inspiration for the original work is a historical person very closely related to Jõhvi. Who, it will become clear on January 20, 2026, when the Jõhvi concert hall will shine in anticipation of the premiere.
