Two great masterpieces of classical chamber music will be performed at the concert in the historical hall of the Narva town hall. The evening opens with Beethoven’s piano trio, in which the composer’s mature style, lyricism and dramatic power meet. This is followed by Brahms’s Piano Trio, a passionate and deeply romantic work that intertwines youthful energy with a mature sense of form.

Violinist Mari Poll, cellist Henry-David Varema and pianist Mihkel Poll are internationally recognized performers whose joint performance is characterized by a fine sense of ensemble and expressive musical dialogue. The trio has performed on prestigious stages, including Berlin’s Konzerthaus and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, and in 2023 received the Estonian Cultural Capital’s annual prize for sound art for its extensive and international activities.
