Rakvere Theater performance “Everything is JOKK, Mrs. Minister”

On 20.05.2026 at 19:00 the Rakvere Theater performance “Everything is JOKK, Mrs. Minister” will take place at the Kohtla-Järve Cultural Center.

Rebecca, a rookie cabinet minister, plans to spend a naughty night with John, who happens to be an opposition representative – a diversion forbidden in the world of politics. To occupy, they have chosen a room in an old and dignified London hotel, a stone’s throw away from the parliament building, where the night session is currently underway, in which the minister is officially present.

But, as befits a Ray Cooney comedy, everything goes awry with catastrophic speed.

One’s wicked wife, the other’s unsuspecting man, a sly waiter, a suspicious hotel manager, a strict nurse, an inept secretary, a sharp private detective and a corpse hidden in a closet contribute to preventing the slippage from happening, the confusion increasing and the party broiler’s career becoming more and more in danger. When the pill bursts, the joke machine runs full steam ahead!
