Rakvere Theater performance “Kiwi Day”

Rakvere Teatr's new production "Kiivipäev" is a heartfelt comedy based on a true story about rediscovering the joy of life in an unexpected way, a vitamin worthy of the fruit mentioned in the title.

Meet Barnabé, pensioner, widower, inveterate brat and slave to habit. Among this man's many set-in-stone habits is eating a small piece of kiwi yogurt every Friday to remind him of his late wife. Until once, on the appointed day, he is forced to admit that the holy morsel has gone for a walk from his refrigerator. Annoyed by the suspected yogurt theft, he decides to catch the culprit, whatever the cost. Even when his son suspects that his father is finally becoming senile, and his psychoanalyst, whom he visits with iron persistence, has long stopped listening to him… Persistence leads to a goal, but when you get there, everything can change!
