TANGO. THE GOLDEN YEARS
A production by Marcos Ayala Dance Company

April 17 – Geneva Concert Hall, Narva

"Tango Golden Years" invites you to a world where tango and jazz meet.
From Buenos Aires to Harlem, from the 1920s to the 1930s: the show transports the viewer to a golden age when music and dance became the voice of freedom, identity and celebration.

Under the artistic direction of Marcos Ayala, recognized worldwide for his innovative vision of tango, “Tango Golden Years” becomes a colorful journey of music and dance through the era of swing, big bands, secret clubs, tango canción and milonga. It is a world of light and shadow, where dance becomes a story in history, memory awakens in every step and rhythm sounds like the voice of freedom.

The performance is aimed at today – the power of art that unites cultures, erases borders and transforms pain into beauty.
The troupe from Buenos Aires has already toured Europe and Estonia: in 2023 with the program "Tango. Where the story begins" and in 2024 with "Tango in the Shadows". The new program "Tango Golden Years" brings elegance and rhythm, new emotions, passion, the power of love and freedom to the audience.
