“The Last Forest Brother” is based on the memoir “Alutaguse Saaga” by forest brother Ruuben Lambur.

It is a story about love for one’s homeland and the fight for its freedom.
The production does not ask how everything happened, but why it happened the way it did.

Ruuben Lambur’s recollections, interwoven with well-known songs, take the audience on a journey through some of the harshest years in Estonian history.
Yet hope remains in the air — because evil cannot prevail…
