V INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S OPERA AND BALLET FESTIVAL. “RED RIDING HOOD”

What happens when Little Red Riding Hood meets Papageno and the Seven Dwarfs on her way to her grandmother’s house? And instead of a wolf, an evil witch meets you in the forest?

The educational project “Little Red Riding Hood and the Seven Dwarfs” is a one-part learning project for children aged 4-10, who can take part in a nativity play from start to finish. The goal of the project is to educate and nurture a new audience for musical theater through a fun game. The educational project features well-known music from operas and ballets.

Together with musicians and soloists and the narrator-director, the children stage the musical fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood and the Seven Dwarfs” and present it to other project participants. The program will be conducted by four costumed program managers and the Estonian National Opera String Trio.
