Have you ever thought that you can create wonderful and unique patterns on fabric with the help of completely ordinary sheets? Come and discover the magical world of plant printing!

We will meet on October 23 at 18:00 at the Kohtla-Järve Cultural Center (Keskallee 36)

This time we are making something beautiful and practical – a tube scarf made of 100% cotton fabric, on which we create a unique pattern using natural leaves.

What awaits you?

Each participant receives a white cotton tube scarf, which we treat with a special solution so that the natural pigments hidden in the leaves can attach to the fabric.

Then we place the leaves on the scarf and create our own personal composition. When everything is ready, we roll up the scarf and put it to steam.

While nature and steam do their magic, we enjoy tea, sweets and good company. We will also talk about which fabrics and plants are suitable for plant printing and what exciting possibilities this technique offers.

And then comes the most exciting moment of the evening – the unrolling of the scarf! The result is always a surprise! Even the same leaves can leave completely different impressions on the fabric. That’s what makes floral print so special – every finished scarf is unique!

After steaming, we rinse the scarves on site, and you can take your finished work home with you right away. All that remains at home is to wash and dry the scarf according to the instructions.

We use only natural plant pigments and 100% cotton fabric.

And that’s not all! As in the last season, we will continue our nice tradition – at the end of the evening there will be a small raffle again! Because what could be better than ending a creative evening with another great surprise?
