Painting exhibition “Light. The beginning of the journey”

01.10.–31.10.2026

For me, painting is primarily a hobby, which has become an important part of my life over time.

By profession, I am a tire workshop specialist and I have my own company. A few years ago, I tried painting for the first time at a master class. At the time, I had no idea how much it would involve me.

Painting has become an opportunity for me to stop, get away from everyday worries for a moment, relax and express my emotions through colors and light.

I have been painting for four years. During this time, I have studied under the guidance of talented artists Juri Horev and Aivar Rihkrand. They have helped me develop, look for my perspective and find my way in art.

In my works, I value mood, atmosphere and the play of light the most. For me, it is important not just to convey what is depicted, but also to preserve the feeling that arises in a certain place and at a certain moment.

I choose all the motifs for my paintings myself. First I photograph what catches my attention, and then I transfer my impressions to the canvas.

This exhibition is not the end point for me, but the continuation of the journey. “Light. The Beginning of the Journey” is an opportunity to share with others what I see, feel and learn through painting.
