Excursion in the fortress: History of the Narva fortress (EST)

The tour includes the permanent exhibition of the Narva fortress and visiting all the most important rooms.

During the excursion, special attention is paid to the history of the Narva fortress: the emergence and development of the fortress complex is discussed, as well as its permanent connection with the history and living conditions of the city. At the same time, an overview is given of the purpose of use of the fortress in different historical periods and the opposing relations between the fortress and the city in both wartime and peacetime.
