Küttejõu quarry is one of the oldest surviving oil shale quarries in Ida-Virumaa, where industrial heritage forms a unique landscape worth exploring. With its herringbone pattern and self-restoring wild nature, this quarry offers hikers a pleasant physical challenge and exciting views.

Difficulty level: athletic. Fast-paced movement on hilly terrain. To get a proper hiking workout, equip yourself with a 5–10 kg backpack (the exact load is up to your preference).
