Hike in the Footsteps of the Toll Family in Kukruse

On the hike, we will move through a historical and natural landscape where the heritage of Kukruse Manor, the beginnings of oil shale history, and the story of the world-famous polar explorer Eduard von Toll intertwine.

  • Meeting point: Kukruse Manor parking lot.

  • Difficulty level: medium — a slightly fast pace, but with stops to catch your breath in interesting places.

  • Those who want a heavier workout, take a backpack weighing approx. 5 kg. Those who prefer a lighter load, just bring a bottle of drinking water.

  • Bring headlamps (it is also possible to borrow a headlamp from the hiking club).
