Kuressaare Theater “The Ugly Girl’s Diary”

"Diary of an Ugly Girl" is a touching and honest insight into the inner world of 14-year-old Malva, where a black hood and a diary are the only shields against the mocking attitude of her peers. This youth story is about self-discovery and courage when an unexpected friendship with Runo helps Malva discover her hidden beauty and creative soul. Through fragility and difference, a world opens where loneliness is replaced by hope, showing that there is a precious spark in every soul. This is an empathetic play for anyone who has ever felt left out, inviting us to notice the true beauty beneath the surface.
