One of the most popular TV shows in Estonia, "Subboteja", was broadcast on various TV channels for more than twenty years. During all these years, the show delighted viewers all over Estonia – TV channels, times and even fashions changed, but "Subboteja" remained the same – smart, affectionate and with a good sense of humor! It is no coincidence that it was "Subboteja" that made it to the legendary collection "100 best programs in the history of Estonian television" – as the only Russian-language program in this respectable list!
During the years on the air, the team of "Subboteja" took viewers to 76 countries of the world – from the sunny beaches of Tahiti to the icy expanses of Alaska, from crazy adventures in Somalia to reports in war-torn Yugoslavia. In addition, Indian reservations, the United States elections, ten (!) Eurovision finals and hundreds of incredible meetings.
A total of 623 programs were completed – and each of them was special in its own way.
Now "Subboteja" is back – not on the TV screen, but right in front of the audience!
After a successful meeting with viewers in Tallinn and Narva, the direction will be taken to Kohtla-Järve!
In the Kohtla-Järve meeting evening program, memories are shared, exciting videos are shown and the best excerpts from programs produced over the years. Of course, we are not yet revealing all the surprises and gifts that await the audience!
We can only say that the audience of Kohtla-Järve will be able to travel to Lapland, Australia, Great Britain and, of course, Estonia, together with Aleksandr Zukerman and Mihhail Vladislavlev.
