Resilience Centre Day in Kiviõli and Sonda
What if the electricity went out for an entire day tomorrow? How would our community cope?
Join us on Sunday, 1 November, from 11:00 to 13:00 for Resilience Centre Day!
A resilience centre is a place for the local community where people can come during a crisis to stay warm, receive information and get help. But is our building ready for this? Who will open the centre? Where should we go if a warning siren sounds? Together, we will look for answers to these questions.
What will we do?
-
Take a tour of the building.
-
Discuss who is responsible for what during a crisis.
-
Talk about emergency alerts.
-
Complete the “Our Family Emergency Plan” worksheet together.
-
Take part in a themed quiz.
Representatives of the Estonian Rescue Board and Purtse Volunteer Rescue Team will be present.
Locations:
Sonda Resilience Centre — Lembitu 9, Sonda
Kiviõli Resilience Centre — Rahvamaja tänav 2, Kiviõli
