The performance “The Last Forest Brother”

“The Last Metsavend” is based on the book of memories of forest brother Ruuben Lambur “Alutagus Saga”.

It is a story of love for the motherland and the struggle for its freedom.

The play does not ask how everything was, but why it happened.

Ruuben Lambur’s reminiscences, alternating with well-known songs, take you on a journey to the harshest years of Estonian history.

Yet there is hope in the air, for evil cannot win…

The evergreen forest brothers’ songs are performed by Ilmar Kald (Untsakad), Jaanus Põlder (Untsakad), Tanel Sakrits (Mandoterror) and Sander Rosenberg (Tapa Valla Mandolin Orchestra).
