The play “Single Quiz”

“INDIVIDUAL QUIZ”

is a story with sharp humor and psychological tension about a relationship, divorce and parenthood in a world where private life has increasingly become a public story. We show others our happiness, principles, children and truths – but what remains behind the scenes? How much of what we tell ourselves is really the truth?

It’s the meeting of two people who both have their own truths and their own wounds – and who both think they know how the world works.

What happens to a person who has built his whole life on a functioning system when one day that system begins to crumble?

Where does caring end and control begin?

Does love give us the right to protect another person even if he does not want this protection?

Does a family remain a family even after the relationship has ended?

What do women and men need in a relationship?

And why can one person’s sense of security be another’s prison?

Marko is raising two sons alone after the breakup of his marriage. He is an ex-soldier, a devoted father and the creator of the popular video blog INDIVIDUAL VISA, which shows thousands of followers how to cope with children even in the most difficult situations as a father. The values of his world are order, responsibility and one sure promise: he will not disappear from his children’s lives.

One day, journalist Liz arrives at Marko’s home to do a story about a man rebuilding his life after a divorce. But before meeting Marko, Liz has also spoken to his ex-wife Mirjam – and heard a very different version of the same marriage.

The interview quickly becomes more than a newspaper article.

In this increasingly polarized world, can a man and a woman really listen to each other?

Can we give freedom to the one we love?

And perhaps the most important question:

After the narrative is broken, can we forgive ourselves?
