Electric guitar may seem quite an unexpected choice for performing J. S. Bach's music but guitarist Jaak Sooäär is an experienced master of the genre. The amplified but clean sound of the guitar conveys the harmonious nuances of Bach's melodic lines very similar in nature to the harmony of contemporary jazz music. The sound of guitar blends perfectly with the classical strings and keyboards that can also be heard on albums recorded together with Andres Mustonen („Aria", „Bach. Goldberg") and Ivo Sillamaa ("Bach").The collaboration with pianist Ivo Sillamaa in performing Bach's chamber works led to the dream of including orchestral colours to the performance with the help of string quartet Prezioso.
