By train to Narva

Narva Railway Station is located in a historical station building near the bus station and in 1 km from the city centre and the border. Daily train service operates on the route to Tallinn (via Jõhvi, Rakvere and the other cities).

 

The fast and modern diesel trains are spacious, child- and cyclist-friendly, with various extra comforts, and provide the passengers with two options in the form of different price classes. In addition to the standard comforts, reserved wider seats with adjustable backrests await the first class passengers. Second class cars are spacious and roomy, but you are not guaranteed a seat. The number of passengers in these cars is higher than usual on Friday and Sunday nights. Tickets can be purchased on Elron website or aboard the train.

    By bus to Narva

    Narva Bus Station is located near the railway station and in 1 km from the city centre and the border.

     

    Narva has excellent connections to the bigger Estonian cities like Tallinn and Tartu as well as to St. Petersburg.

     

    The price of the bus ticket depends mainly on the time of the purchase as well as on the demand. When the trip is planned in advance, the probability of getting a price discount is higher. Due to dynamic pricing, the highest price applies to a ticket bought on board the bus from the driver or from customer service representative. On the other hand, a ticket bought through the pre-sale may be acquired for less than half the price.

    Narva is the third largest city in Estonia. Its geographic location near the border is one of the main features of the town. Tallinn-Saint Petersburg (E20) road run through Narva. The distance from Narva to St. Petersburg is 159 km, to Tallinn 211 km, to Tartu 178 km and to Pärnu 291 km.

     

    The historical road network, which runs through Narva from Lübeck to St. Petersburg and where the Via Hanseatica tourism route on the Riga-St. Petersburg section was created, has been very important throughout history. The Via Hanseatica connects three countries, and presents an excellent opportunity to discover unique cultural and natural tourist attractions as well as the best places to stay and eat.

     

    City traffic in Narva is calm and there are no traffic jams.

     

    In several places in the town, including some shopping malls, parking is chargeable. Watch street signs near the parking places. More information: About parking

     

    When travelling by caravan, a free parking place can be found in the city centre on Raja street (without amenities) and only 3 km from the city in Vana-Olgina Manor camp site (all necessary provided).

     

    Secure parking service can be found in Hotel Central on Lavretsovi street or in Transservis waiting area (Rahu 4a).
